Go Mid FACEIT Demo Import Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Go Mid ("Go Mid", "we", "us") handles information when you use the Go Mid FACEIT Demo Import extension and the related import service at gomid.pro.
1. What the extension does
The extension adds an import action to a completed FACEIT match page. After your explicit confirmation, it sends the match reference to Go Mid so the service can validate the resource, download the demo, and queue it for analysis.
2. Information we handle
- FACEIT match information: the match ID, the demo resource URL, and, when available, the original demo filename.
- Account information: the Steam ID and basic public profile information associated with your Go Mid sign-in, such as display name and avatar.
- Authentication information: a Go Mid session token and authentication timestamps used to keep your Go Mid account signed in. We do not receive or store your Steam password.
- Analysis information: the downloaded demo, operation ID, job status, progress, errors, player identifiers found in the demo, gameplay metrics, and analysis results required to provide the service.
- Security and operation information: timestamps, IP address, request details, and error or abuse-prevention logs.
- Local extension settings: the Go Mid website origin you configure and a temporary association used to return the import status to the originating FACEIT tab.
The extension does not read or store your passwords, Steam credentials, browser cookies, browsing history, or content from unrelated websites. Your existing FACEIT session is used by the browser only to access the currently open match page. Go Mid maintains its own server-side session token after Steam sign-in; this token is not your Steam password.
3. How we use information
- to authenticate your Go Mid account;
- to validate the submitted FACEIT match and demo resource;
- to perform anti-abuse verification with Cloudflare Turnstile;
- to download, queue, and analyze the requested demo;
- to enforce quotas, billing limits, security controls, and rate limits;
- to troubleshoot failures, prevent abuse, and maintain the service; and
- to comply with legal obligations.
4. Services and sharing
We do not sell personal information and do not use it for targeted advertising. Information is shared only as needed to provide the requested feature, operate the service, protect the service, or comply with law.
- Steam is used for authentication.
- FACEIT is contacted to validate the match resource and obtain the demo download authorization.
- Cloudflare Turnstile processes the anti-abuse challenge and its verification token.
- Infrastructure and storage providers may process data on our behalf to host Go Mid and store analysis data.
5. Retention and deletion
We retain account, operation, demo, and analysis information for as long as necessary to provide the requested analysis, maintain account history, enforce quotas and security controls, resolve disputes, and satisfy legal requirements. Temporary operation data is removed when it is no longer needed. You may request deletion of account-associated data by contacting Go Mid support through gomid.pro; some information may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
6. Security
Go Mid uses HTTPS for network transmission and applies access controls to account, demo, and analysis data. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we handle.
7. Your choices
You can stop using the extension at any time, remove it from your browser, or contact Go Mid support to ask about access, correction, or deletion of information associated with your account.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the extension or service changes. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new update date.
